1. If you have something to say about theatre,
here's your space. It can be topical, social, economic, about
political developments; you can discuss an article or a comment,
a seminar or lecture, or review a relevant film or book. You
can spout off, agonize, meditate, chuckle or muse. In 800-1200
words.
2. Don't forget to add your postal address
(with pin code), day time phone number and email address.
Without this we can't send you your (modest) payment. Please
do this every time you send us a piece. And of course, we'll
put your email address at the end of your piece.
3. Mention the word-length at the outset.
Submit articles with titles. Avoid subtitles unless absolutely
crucial. Cross check proper nouns, and names of persons, dates,
Indian terms. (E.g., Sangeet or Sangit? Nataka or Natak? etc).
Underline the names of plays. It is impossible for us to verify
this stuff at the last moment.
4. Take advantage of Theatre Log, your free
announcement space. Share information about plays and events
anywhere in India within 50 words. What you send us is what
we'll post.
5. Are you just dying to comment/respond
to something you've read in e-stq this week, or to something
else you feel strongly about? Do so right away in not more
than 200 words. However, we are not in position to offer payment
for these responses.
6. Anything that appears on e-stq is non-copyright
material, which means that it can be quoted or reproduced
freely with the request that the author and volume no. be
mentioned each time this is done.
That's pretty much it. Write often and enjoy
e-stq.
