With the opening of the 'Max Mueller Library at the Seagull Bookstore
(Bhowanipur) all books and services will again be accessible to members.
Well-known author Ulrike Draesner from Berlin and author-translator
Martin Kämpchen from Santiniketan will be present for the opening.
A selection of poems from Kampchen's latest volume will be read by
Aparna Sen and the translator himself (German-Bengali). Ulrike Draesner
will read an English translation of excerpts from her book 'Mitgift'
(Dowry) as well as her original German poems which have been translated
into Bengali
