PeaceWorks in its first venture outside Calcutta organised a two day programme in Darjeeling in May 2005 in association with the Inner Wheel Club of Darjeeling.

Anti – war documentaries, Anand Patwardhan’s “ Jung aur Aman’ and Alan renais’ Night and Fog”,were screened for school and college students in conjunction with talks and discussions. On the second day, students from local colleges took part enthusiastically in a debate “ Does Peace Work?” in which the trophy for the best team was won by Loreto College.
